Session 2: The Legend of Yeemick

 

After spending the night near the goblin hideout, Vrakprax and The Mute are joined by two companions, Immeral the elven cleric, and Darakar, a tiefling sorcerer. The party, now reinforced, enters into the goblins cave. After handling a group of starving wolves they manage to sneak into the room of the groups leader, a bugbear named Klarg. There is a quick, but vicious, combat before Klarg is defeated. The party begins searching the rest of their cave, thinking that the goblins will put up little resistance now that their leader is dead. Little did they know of the dread force awaiting them in mighty Yeemick! 

With far too much bravery, and a healthy amount of luck, the mighty goblin Yeemick manages to slightly delay the party in their searching of the cavern. After his swift and brutal death, the rest of the goblins surrender to the party, however the legend of Yeemick shall live on throughout the ages.

The party manages to rescue a man named Sildar, a companion of Gundren who was captured by the goblins. However, Gundren himself is nowhere to be found, apparently he was taken somewhere called "Cragmaw Castle". The adventurers rest in the cave, intending to push on to Phandalin in the morning.
