Session 9: The Black Spider Falls
The Mute finalizes his cooking training, and gains a new skill.
Immeral researched the name of the groups Raven statue, known as "Poe".
Vrakprax begins learning how to forge, spending 4 weeks of accumulated downtime towards this skill.
Adventuring
The party finds themselves confronted by a Doppelganger, Nothic, and Giant Spider outside of the forge of spells. The Nothic delves deeply into Immeral's mind, and before their very eyes the Doppelganger transforms into a fair elven maiden. Unknown to most of the group, the sight of her sends Immeral into a rage and the fight that ensues is bloody, but short.
The party continues through the caverns before eventually encountering the Black Spider himself! Greatly hindered by his magical webs, the party still emerges victorious in combat! As the tides begin to turn, the Black Spider attempts to flee from his inevitable defeat. However, his attempt at escape is cut short by a liberal use of dynamite.
