Session 11: Heart of Darkness

The party heads to Luskan, where the Arcane Brotherhood offers them 500 gold for the head of an Orc Shaman to the North. They accept this over and head North to Raven Rock, in search of gold and a powerful magic artefact.

Along the way they see a farmhouse being attacked by Orcs, Undead, and a massive Ettin! After a pitched fight all the foes are slain. The farmers family is saved, although the farmer himself lies dead.

Continuing North the party finds Raven Rock. After defeating a Giant, along with more Orcs and Undead, the party makes their way into the crypt. Within they find the Shaman welding a strange artefact, blacker than night. They defeat this shaman, and his companions, and spent the night in uneasy slumber next to a magical circle drawn into the ground.
